TO OUR VALUED ARTISTS:

Please be advised that the Trustees of the Little Church of La Villita have had to make the decision to cancel our STARVING ARTIST ART SHOW® for the CURRENT YEAR ONLY – 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Due to increased costs (costs that in the past have been covered or waived), additional unexpected expenses, plus the loss of assistance with promotional materials and other advertising, it is not feasible for our organization to proceed with the production of our show for this year.

Though we are forgoing the show for this year (2026), we will earnestly begin planning for next year knowing now that we are going to need to develop year-long additional fundraising to help support what used to be our main annual fundraising event, our much beloved STARVING ARTIST ART SHOW®. In addition to fundraising, we will be reaching out into the community for sponsorships, promotional assistance, etc.

Please stick with us until next year! Last year we were informed by the City of San Antonio that the first weekend in April each year through at least 2031 is reserved for our show.

If you have already submitted your application with payment, your check, cashier's check or money order will be returned to you by mail. Please give us at least 10 days to get your funds back to you. Those who have paid cash, we will be contacting you as soon as possible.
